World Series Champs Milwaukee Brewers Train On Ecore Recycled Rubber Flooring

The Milwaukee Brewers made history last month with their first-ever World Series Championship.

Player performance seen on the field in the final game and throughout the season began long before the first pitch. Every day, Major League Baseball athletes spend hours training, recovering and preparing for competition, making the quality of their training environment just as important as the equipment they use.

Early mornings in the weight room. Countless reps… Ecore Athletic flooring was there creating a safer, more durable training environment throughout every stage of preparation and recovery.

Through Ecore Athletic’s partnership with the Professional Baseball Strength & Conditioning Coaches Society, last year the Milwaukee Brewers upgraded key player spaces at American Family Field, including the weight room, athletic training room, dining area and adjacent support spaces.

Professional baseball training facilities present unique flooring demands. Players move throughout training areas wearing a variety of footwear – from sandals to spikes.  Coaches and athletic trainers spend long hours on their feet. Weightlifting, plyometrics and rehabilitation exercises require surfaces that balance durability with ergonomic support, provide exceptional traction, reduce noise and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

Working with the Brewers and fitness partner, Direct Fitness Solutions, Ecore Athletic developed a customized flooring solution tailored to each training space.

The project utilized Ecore’s Fit Collection, made with recycled and reclaimed composition rubber materials, in key player areas because of its exceptional durability, ability to withstand the daily strength training and rehabilitation  demands of professional baseball.

In the weight room, the flooring was paired with Monster ShockPad made from vulcanized composition rubber reclaimed from recycled and reclaimed materials, to provide additional impact reduction and acoustic performance during strength training.

“The new flooring is a tremendous upgrade for our weight room.  It has excellent traction and enhances  appearance, comfort and functionality ” Brewers Head Strength & Conditioning Specialist Jason Meredith said. “Looking back, it’s an improvement I wish we had made sooner.”

Milwaukee Brewers logos completed the installation, reinforcing the team’s identity throughout the facility.

“We’re proud to have Ecore Athletic flooring in the Brewers’ training facility, where that work gets put in,” Ecore CEO Art Dodge said.

Well earned, Milwaukee. Enjoy every bit of it.
