Liberty Partners With Truckers Against Trafficking
Liberty Tire Recycling has entered a new, long-term partnership with Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), a non-profit organization that educates and mobilizes transportation and travel industry workers to combat human trafficking.
With a coast-to-coast trucking operation and more than 1,000 drivers and helpers on the road across North America, Liberty’s nationwide transportation network is uniquely suited to recognize and report instances of human trafficking.
Liberty supports TAT through charity initiatives like its Step Challenge, while TAT equips Liberty employees with training to help them spot and report signs of human trafficking encountered on their routes across North America.
“Our drivers and employees have embraced this initiative with enthusiasm, and it has the strong backing of our senior leadership.
We’re proud to be a consistent partner to TAT and a reliable advocate in the fight against human trafficking,” Liberty said.
TAT’s mission involves partnering with industries and government agencies to expand the network of eyes and ears on the road to disrupt human trafficking operations.
