Pretred Paceline Barriers Installed in Seattle
Colorado recycled rubber products manufacturer Pretred is introducing the Paceline Barrier, its newest sustainable infrastructure product built to protect bike lanes and the people who use them.
The cycle lane separator is engineered for safety, built for durability and designed with sustainability at its core, the company said.
Made from over 95 percent recycled materials, the Paceline enhances street safety and helps cities meet their climate and waste reduction goals.
The City of Seattle, Washington is the first municipality to deploy the Paceline Barrier on a large scale creating safer, more defined bike lanes that encourage active transportation and protect vulnerable road users, city officials said.
In Colorado, Pretred installed sixty roadway safety barriers, its flagship product, around Denver’s Ball Arena, home of the Nuggets/Avalanche baseball team.
As part of their commitment to eco-friendly solutions, Denver International Airport – City & County of Denver Dept. of Aviation is using Pretred’s recycled rubber barriers throughout the airport complex.
